Welcome to the Central Montana Astronomy Society Website.

Our Mission

The Central Montana Astronomy Society provides a place for local amateur star gazers to exchange ideas and techniques and to provide a fellowship atmosphere where people share a common interest of the cosmos.  We are organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the promotion of the study of astronomy though instruction, lectures, public viewing, and astronomical conventions.

The next meeting will be March 12, 2014 at 6:30 PM in room 216, Paris Gibson Education Center at the corner of 25th Street and Central Ave. Park in the Lot behind (south of) the school. Enter the parking at 25th Street and 1st Avenue South.  Enter the Doors on the left side. See The Picture Of The Doors

The next star observing party will be March 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 10PM.

The session will be held in the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center parking lot.
